Our small family painting business started in 1985, but our roots go back to 1865. W.H. Cawley started the family business after returning from serving as an infantryman in the Civil War. He opened and ran the Cawley Hotel until 1887, when he opened the W.H. Cawley Company, which bottled soda and beer. That business continued through three generations, until 1975, when it was sold to 7up. That year Jonathan Cawley started painting, and eventually opened Cawley Contracting in 1985, which specialized in painting historic Victorian homes. Cawley Contracting moved to the Raleigh area in 1998 and became Raleigh Parking Lot Painting LLC. We are proud of our history of service to our community and friends here in the Raleigh Triangle.
